We enjoy caring
for children
starting at the
time of birth,
whether they are
delivered by us
or by another
physician.
During the first
year of life,
frequent visits
are necessary to
detect problems,
insure normal
growth and
development and
administer basic
immunizations.
In addition, we recommend an annual physical exam between ages 2 and 5. Children between ages 5 and 18 should have a school physical every 3 years. We generally see older children for pre-school, camp, athletic physicals, and other school examinations at appropriate intervals. In addition, we see children for acute illness and injury. Additional checkups should be scheduled according to the child’s individual health care needs.
